About

I’m Firat, a software engineer based in Istanbul. I build apps, open-source tools, and things with AI.

Currently:

• Building useful products for iOS and macOS, and tools for the developers behind them.
• Exploring LLMs, AI agents, and how they fit into everyday software.

Some background:

• Created Sonic, a voice note-taking app for iOS.
• Worked on iOS experiences at Codeway, using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Built backend systems with Python, Go, Django, and FastAPI.
• Sharing what I learn through writing and videos.
• Away from the keyboard: reading, chess, and the gym.
